Within this website, I will be exploring three common Scottish folk creatures. I will explore the  history of these creatures, some common tales about them and how these creatures are used within Scottish culture. Some of these creatures are more well known than others, but all have a place within Scottish folklore. Because Scotland is an ancient country whose many cultures carry influence from other countries, many of these creatures come from the folklore of other cultures. In this website we will explore where these creatures came from and what influence they have on Scottish life and culture.
